PLANNING | DIY and Content for the One Room Challenge

I’m so excited to be participating in the @OneRoomChallenge challenge this year. Of course, I’m starting by planning and you can see my full process in the video below!

For the One Room Challenge I’ll be converting my girl’s “classroom” into a bedroom for one of my daughters. We called this room “The Classroom” because we used it to learn and play during COVID when the girls should have been in preschool.  Over time, it evolved into a Lego room and generally drove me nuts! The steps I’m taking to change this room are:

1) Plan
2) Clean and prep
3) Add wainscotting
4) Refinish desk
5) Wallpaper
6) Add furniture
7) Decorate
